Knit a Sweater with Patt!
Tuesday, August 04
6:30pm - 7:30pm
My London Library
Hartley Meeting RoomLearn how to knit a sweater!
If you are an experienced knitter and would like to learn how to knit a sweater, we have the perfect program for you! Local knitter, Patt Delph, will be leading us through a class that will teach all attendees how to knit a sweater from start to finish!
How will this program work?
Our first meeting on August 4th will be an informational meeting. During this meeting, Patt will discuss the supplies that you'll need and the sweater pattern that everyone will be working on. Each participant will be asked to purchase their own materials before the second meeting on August 18th. If you are unable to participate due to financial concerns please contact Allison Ratcliff via email at aratcliff@mylondonlibrary.org.
At each meeting (starting on August 18th), Patt will instruct the class on the steps needed to complete their sweater. Between meetings participants will work on a portion of their sweater and will then learn the next steps at the next meeting.
This program series will consist of 10-12 meetings. The number of meetings will be adjusted depending on the needs of those in the class.
Registration is required. Ages 18+ only.
All participants of this class will need to know how to knit, cast on, and purl prior to registering.
